All students are allowed in the building at 7:40. Those wishing to eat breakfast may then do so. Younger students will then wait  in the multi-purpose room till 7:55. Third through sixth graders that are not eating breakfast are taken to the gym. We will be doing a special intervention time first thing in the morning this year, so please try to get your students here on time. Students coming in after 8:10 are considered tardy and will need to go to the office first.

On every day but Thursday, students that are car riders will be dismissed  at 3:05, and sent to the library to await dismissal from the south doors. Please have you child's name cards ready. If your child normally walks and inclement weather occurs, please contact the school if your child will be picked up that day. Walkers will also be dismissed at 3:05 from the East doors by the nurses' office. Bus Riders  will  be dismissed at 3:10 from the west doors of the school, by the multi-purpose room.  Busses will be coming in from Dakota Street and traveling on the new gravel road that has been made behind the school. Please do not park up close to the building in the gravel parking lot. This former lane has to be free for busses. You will see that teachers are not parking here anymore. If a bus student is being picked up please notify the office. Students can not be dismissed from the bus lane to parents.  If parents need to pick up students early, they will need to check in at the office.

Thursday is an early release day every day this year. Car riders and walkers will dismiss at 1:45, and bus riders at 1:50.

Our school district has an automatic calling system that will call parents to inform them of school closing. This system will call home phones, cell phones, or any number that is designated. It will leave a message on answering machines and voice mail. The local radio station, KMOE/FM 92 or KMAM 1530 will also announce school closings. Plus total day closings, such as for snowstorms, may also be seen on local television stations.
